Participation: Any street-legal vehicle can participate, as well as any make and model of motorcycle.         

Please join us for our 7th annual Ride for Autism.  The ride is an     overnight motorcycle poker run that strives to increase public awareness about the mysterious affliction that is autism, and raises money to help improve the lives of those living with autism.

We are actively soliciting donation to help underwrite the 2010 ride, and want to emphasize that all proceeds(every single penny) goes to help those with autism; Project Independence is staffed entirely by volunteers.  The entire proceeds from the 2009 ride were donated to St. Mary’s School in Alexandria, currently 70% of the residents are diagnosed with autism.  This donation was an effort to offset cuts made by the State of Louisiana.

Several changes will be made for the 2010 ride, one major change

Being that two (2) separate poker hands will be judged and prizes awarded, one in Natchez on Saturday night and one in Lafayette at the return destination. An individual choosing to play both hands can double his chances at winning.
